As I glance up whilst writing this (at an airport) it’s obvious that everyone is on their phone. That’s just the modern way but it’s scary how easily distracted we get. We’re not just distracted by our phones; we’re distracted by the distractions on the distraction. We’re goldfish. Blub.

That’s why I wanted to shout-out to you right now because you managed to find out about our music despite the million distractions that tried to keep us from discovering each other. You paid attention to our music to make land-lovers surf when you could have been watching kittens juggle (wait, that sounds rad!) and I think that’s really cool.

I moved to London in 2011 from South Africa because TV told me that London is one of the world’s music meccas and that if you make it there you’ll make it everywhere. The problem is that the big city has BIG distractions and it’s been tough to cut through the clutter and connect with people through our music.

And that’s exactly what we’re trying to do…not maximise our fanbase/followers but instead make new friends. New friends who share our love for the up-beat, the off-beat, the spice of hot-sauce and the nice of lemonade.

We’ve stumbled upon a new way of reaching out to these new friends. A new way of reaching out to YOU - without all the bullshit distractions.

So (drum roll), we’ve decided to release our new EP “Conjugate” for free directly to you during a 7-day interactive digital rollercoaster ride starting TODAY! Through daily emails, we’ll send you links where you can download/stream each day’s track in the highest quality, watch behind-the-scenes footage plus backstage and tour shenanigans, not-to-mention acoustic versions and live streams just for you.
